OK California, we've got a ballot to contend with on November 8. The whole point of this exercise is to attempt to launch California into a political retrograde motion in one fell swoop with ironically skewed, pseudo-progressive, corporation paid-for pap.
Until the conditions are such that both the Unions and the Corporations are both equally less involved in government by virtue of a fully publicly funded election system, we've got to say no to Prop. 75.
Prop. 73 is an attempt at infringement on the self-evident truth that is human reproductive rights.
Prop. 74. is an attempt at delaying tenure status for California's teachers. Teachers have enough problems.
Prop. 76 blames our unbalanced budget on our kids.
Prop. 77 wants to turn California into Texas.
Prop. 78 and 79 are prescription drug propositions. 78 is brought to you by big-pharma. 79 is a people funded alternative that will face judicial hurdles post election if passed, but its better then nothing.
Prop. 80 re-regulates energy in an attempt to avoid the whims of future Enron's.
The Poorman, (and Mrs. Poorman) and I want everyone to do what they can to keep California not Republican.
Thanx.
The Pragmatic Progressive November 8, 2005 California Ballot Endorsements.
Props. 74-78 brought to you by Arnold Schwarzenegger, The GOP, and filthy money.
